ESTABLISHED in 1923 by Mr Jack Gill, John Gill Limited is the first port of call for many motorists living across a large swathe of North Yorkshire, when it comes to purchasing, maintaining and fuelling their vehicles.
Under the direction of the founder's son, the dealership continues to grow. John Gill Limited became the UK's first officially appointed Chrysler Jeep dealer in 1992, and when the Dodge franchise first appeared in Britain in early 2006, the dealership added the brand to its portfolio. On August 10 2009, John Gill Limited added Ford, Britain's market leader.
At the front of the dealership there is a busy 24 hour Gulf petroleum filling station and convenience shopping selling fuels, oil and a wide variety of everyday products.
Next door to the shop, the Bedale showrooms now display the latest cars from Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and now Ford after the refurbishment of the second showroom, which incorporates the very latest Ford signage and franchise identity. A full range of demontrators from Ford, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge are readily available for test drive purposes.
As one of only ten independent Authorised Mercedes-Benz repairers in the country, John Gill Limited also has access to new and Approved Used Mercedes-Benz vehicles and can source new and used models to order.
In addition to new cars, the dealership offers a superb selection of pre-owned cars with prices ranging from £3,500 on up to around £35,000.

John Gill Limited's modern, 14-bay workshop offers full aftersales facilities for all the franchises held along with all makes servicing, repairs, MOT's and four-wheel alignment.
Once a service or MOT has been completed cars are treated to a free mini valet before collection. Free vehicle health checks are also given on every car as part of the service.
Courtesy cars or localised collection and delivery can be provided by prior arrangement, free of charge.
Three years ago the dealership became an Authorised Mercedes-Benz Repairer following heavy investment in staff training and Mercedes-Benz service tooling and diagnostic equipment, up to main dealer level. This allows the highly trained technicians to perform warranty work, paintwork repairs on new and older Mercedes-Benz cars.
John Gill Limited has an insurance approved Bodyshop fully accredited by Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge. Everything from localised SMART repairs to complete rebuilds are undertaken. Courtesy cars are available too.
